Introduction:
Pakistan has one of the worst educational systems in the entire world. The value of the Pakistani passport, the corruption of our politicians, and the behaviours of Pakistanis living in other countries provide a clear picture of Pakistan’s educational system. In this article, I’ll only share my experience from my fourteen years of school life (nursery, prep, one grade to twelfth grade).
How Does Pakistani Education Teach Students Lies?
- In Pakistan when a Student buys a book, the price tag on the book is written twice the actual rate, When a Student buy book, the seller cuts 20-30% from the mentioned price on the book in front of the student. This technique is very common in Pakistan.
- Our books on Pakistan studies contain inaccurate or biased historical information. Regrettably, we must continue to study it. (Proof: Click Here)
Pakistani Education is Enough to Learn a Language?
Every student in Pakistan studies English, Urdu, and math from preschool to grade 12. However, almost all of the students are unable to speak English or Urdu in front of others, despite having spent 14 years in school. (Proof: Click Here)
Education Structure in Pakistan:
- Pre-primary students in Pakistan are taught three books: English, Urdu, and Math.
- At the primary level, students are taught six books: English, Urdu, Math, Islamic Studies, History, and Science.
- At the secondary level, students are instructed in eight subjects: English, Urdu, Math, Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies, Biology, Physics, and (Chemistry or Computer Science).
- Students in high school are taught six books: English, Urdu, (Islamiyat or Pakistan Studies), (Computer Science or Chemistry) and (Maths or Biology).
Problems in The Education Structure of Pakistan:
- As I am a Computer science student but still I have to study the same physics textbook that engineering students and medical students use, and we also study the same math textbook used by engineering students. What I’m trying to say is: As a student of computer science, I require knowledge of Physics or Maths related to my field. What would I do with the information that isn’t applicable to my daily life? but I still need to prepare it to get high marks.
- Another issue that can be found in our textbook is it follows the 2006 curriculum. And we are all aware of how much the world has changed. But still, we continue to use a 15-year-old curriculum. Yes, they did make some changes to it, but these changes are subtle, such as changing a question or a subtopic in the main topic. (Proof: Click Here )
Problems in The Examination System in Pakistan:
Nepotism is one of the biggest issues the Pakistani examination system is currently facing. The government teachers take the exams from grades 9 through 12. Children who have a family member who works for the government bring that person to the exam room and speak with the teachers there to give permission to their child to copy.
You might find it strange, but they have a system; “if you let my kids copy in the exam, I’ll do the same for yours”. As a result of this inequality, the majority of students who don’t have anyone in the government sector decide to leave their education. I was depressed when I saw the students who had come with his Government teachers’ family members and were discussing corruption with the examiners in front of us.
Everyone is aware of this corruption, but no one speaks out against it; as a result, the children of government teachers receive higher grades than other students. Regrettably, in Pakistan, skill means nothing; people are only evaluated based on their marks.

Graduate to Job Ratio in Pakistan:
According to the news, up to 31% of graduates in Pakistan are unemployed, but in reality, this number is more than 50%. There are a number of causes, but Pakistan’s inadequate educational system is one of them. Honourable members You may find it strange, but our university graduates are also unable to communicate effectively in English, despite the fact that our curriculum is entirely in English from grade one to degree level. Why We Don’t Have The People Like Edison or Einstein in Pakistan?
There are thousands of talented people in Pakistan, but our education system isn’t strong enough to give them opportunities. In Pakistan’s educational system, the only things that matters are grades and theory. They are completely unconnected to practical work. As a result, they produce good memory chips rather than evolutionary scientists.
Why Am I Sacrificing My Family to Attend University in the United States?
Believe Me, I worked on more than 15 projects to better our community as well as the nation as a whole, but none of them was successful because no one helped me. When I told my family about my projects, they teased me. I approached media representatives about my projects, but they declined me because they would not profit from promoting my projects since would benefit the entire community. Every time I told someone about my research, they would mock me out of jealousy.
Despite all of my failures, I did not give up my struggle, instead, I looked to a nation that supports the unique ones. That is why I am attempting to be among those who respect my ideas and provide me with the opportunity to do something memorable for the entire planet.
