What is Unique in Yale Research Group For Artificial Intelligence?
Currently, Yale has over 20 faculty members working on artificial intelligence. So it’s a dream come true for me to work under the tutelage of so many mentors on my project “Building Feelings In Artificial Intelligence”.
1. Artificial Intelligence Research Team:
From Professor Dana Angluin, one of the world’s most experienced professors who has spent her entire career researching artificial intelligence, to Professor Arman Cohan, a young professor who works on natural language processing in artificial intelligence and will join Yale in January 2023, I found Yale to be a place where I can seek guidance from a professor like Dana Angluin, who has been in touch with my field since 1976 and will guide me through her experience, while I’ll work on my project to contribute something new to the world with the help of the young professor Arman Cohan.
2. Research Opportunities:
Yale provides research opportunities not only to PhD and Masters students but also to undergraduate students. I recently read an article by Professor Alex Wong of computer science. He mentioned that the European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV 2021) had accepted two of his papers in a particular area of computer science. He added that he and three other undergraduate students collaborated to write these papers, which were then published.
Reading this article gave me the desire to continue my project as soon as I start my first semester of college. Without a doubt, Yale is the place where I’ll meet these kinds of dedicated professors who not only contribute to society but also provides opportunities for others to do the same.
In addition to the research team, Yale also has the following advantages:
1. Multi-Cultural Society:
Yale is a place where people from various countries live and work together. I also want to be a part of that society so that I can learn about other cultures and their issues and can aid them in finding solutions to their social issues.
2. Debating Society:
If you find something strange about someone at Yale, you have the option of debating him. As a result, You’ll change his or your mentality. As It is extremely rare in other places or countries, particularly in Pakistan, where people kill each other in the name of religion.
Conclusion:
Respected Members of Admission Committee, It is challenging to sum up a place where academic and revolutionary culture has been in full swing for three centuries, but I have listed those aspects of Yale that I found most pleasurable.
